What does a Driver’s Medical involve?

Before your appointment you will have to perform your eyesight medical at your local opticians.
The first part is an interview in which the doctor and candidate discuss any existing medical conditions that may interfere with safe driving.
The second part of the medical is an actual physical examination in which the doctor will check the candidate’s vital signs, vision, etc.
You will be required to give a urine sample to the doctor this is to check for diabetes.

Please inform the secretary the reason of your visit.
